This page features a few images I created just for fun.

I created this image by combining photographs of two train stations. The station on the left is Harvey House in Barstow, Calif.; the station on the right is Kelso Depot in Kelso, Calif. In Photoshop, I reproduced the sky so that it has the same coloring in both images; I removed portions of the post where the two images join and drew in the backgrounds so that the removal is undetectable.

This poster captures my philosophy perfectly. The
code was written by Grandfather Chief Grey Eagle,
a Cherokee medicine man, and printed in the Country
Road Chronicles
. I designed this poster for my office
to help me keep things in perspective.

I created this image using Illustrator and
Photoshop. I had a hypothetical assignment
of encouraging elementary school children
to visit the state aquarium.

I created this "Princetonized" Cheshire Cat in
Photoshop. I scanned the image from my
daughter's coloring book and applied colors,
textures, filters using Photoshop.

Another pose...
I animated this pose so that the Cheshire Cat
fades away leaving only his smile.

I created this self portrait using Illustrator. My life is dominated by the Macintosh system bomb.

I created this unicorn in Photoshop. This illustration is a
composite of six images and is based on the description
from Bulfinch's Mythology.

When Princeton University President Shapiro stepped
down, James Wei, dean of the School of Engineering
and Applied Science, wanted to present him with a
memento. He wanted to designate President Shapiro
an honorary engineer in recognition of his unwavering
support throughout his administration. I created this
"scroll" for the occasion. I wrote the text. The background
image is a scan of lightly tinted parchment paper. I had
the scroll printed on canvas and assembled onto two
wooden rods so that it could be unrolled as it was read.
The proclamation was a big hit.
